For the 2023 edition of the Miami Open, sponsored by Itaú, IMG and Next Level Authentic collaborated in authenticating a collection of stadium net pieces from both the ATP Masters 1000 men’s and the WTA 1000 women’s finals. In addition, several sets of game-used tennis balls from the match finals were authenticated as limited collector items. The encased pieces will enrich IMG’s sponsorship program as historic mementos of the tournament. This authentication constitutes the first time that professional tennis stadium court nets are removed post-game to create collectible pieces of sports memorabilia.
